Volunteering Stories

23 November 2017

Volunteers make a positive impact in their community and in other people’s lives each and everyday! As an ongoing short film project, Melville Volunteer Resource Centre (MVRC) will be featuring the amazing stories of volunteers in our community.

David is a volunteer for ConnectGroup's Hand to Heart program. The program aims to reconnect those in our community who have become isolated and lonely. ConnectGroups are here to assist, a friendly community visitor will pop in and have a chat over a cuppa about the many opportunities awaiting you to meet like minded people, form new connections and have new experiences.
